RED RUM MURDER

My previous band, Red Rum Murder were a great bunch of lads who also loved to play music.
being creative and  productive I also did some artwork for them also. These are just a selection of EP covers yet again, some of which were used, "Rumours & Losers" and "Chronos".

(Rumours and Losers Cover)

(Chronos Cover)

This was another concept idea for the Chronos Cover. As this was based on the more literal idea of time,
the one above basically came from an absolute crazy idea about someone being sucked into their own sad life of day time television, with that being their downfall.

This was cover of the Carly Rae Jepson Song we did "Call Me Maybe".

AFTER THE DEPARTURE

It gives me great fulfillment to create artwork for Facebook banners and also EP Covers. Soon to be hopefully some merchandise design! These are for my band based in Leeds, called After The Departure, we're a metal/post-hardcore/metalcore band. We enjoy what we do and we're constantly looking for gigs, so if you know of any, let us know!

This is once of the main facebook banners for my current band! Check us out if you have the time! We'd also appreciate your musical support as well!

This is also a Logo Design which I've done for After The Departure. With the logo being something
which we're all constantly giving input into, it's not yet finalized.

From Left-Right Jordan Saggu, Tom Wiseman, Greg Forbes, Phil Dearman (Me), Luke Saggu and Ben Hewitt. Another idea for our band page Banner, incorperating the logo.

FAST MOVE

During early summer of 2010, I was able to use my design skills, to produce something which I never would've imagined. A client, who had his own idea for his Property Developing project came to me to produce some artwork, so I leaped at the chance to help out in producing a For Sale Board design and letterhead design for his company Fast Move.

I also did some business card designs, newspaper advertisements and flyer designs.
It gave me a good experience and also also good insight into managing a full project.
It was very enjoyable and fulfilling as I was able to produce ideas that were continuously being tweaked and changed until the final things were made. I followed it all the way through to completion and the results were amazing and I even surprised myself.

CB Imports (Country Baskets)

This was one of 3 ideas I did for a 2nd job interview, which unfotunately I didn't manage to get in the end, but I had an awsome time doing the breif they gave me, which was to do an ad-van design for thier new store which they are planning to open in bristol.

POMEGRANATE YOUTH THEATRE Promotion

This was one of my very first external briefs to be given to me. I was able to let the client looking at my work so she could get an idea of what I could offer in terms of artwork. This style really suited her influences and so she asked if she could use a piece which I'd done when I was in college. I was more than happy to do so as it was going the Chesterfield Theatre's website, to advertise the youth theatre.

Major Project ESCAPISM THEME

This is another theme which I included in my Vans Warped Tour project. Totally opposite to the mayhem side of things I went with the more, psychedelic colors and more of a combination of the human form and the modern day electric guitar.

CHARITY WORK

This work was actually for free, as it was for Kirkwood Hospice Charity, but its work all the same. The guys from Kirkwood Hospice, wanted a poster and some registration forms for the fund raiser and I was more than happy to oblige and do them.
